As you know my name is Pat, the age does not matter, only to say that I am young at heart, with a very good natured, outgoing personality and a willingness to help others. I admit I talk quite a bit, joke a little and laugh a lot, but still manage to have an excellent listening ear.
I grew up in a small village near Bridlington on the East Coast of Yorkshire where my parents owned a pub for 25 years and also took in guests. I spent my former years helping out in the business and later qualified as hair stylist before marrying and moving over to Huddersfield almost 20 years ago.
It was not long before I hosted my very first student, Mark, from Singapore, giving me a taste for that special kind of job. Then, after 15years of hosting students of all ages and cultures, I looked forward to changing direction very slightly, by providing the same excellent services with exactly the same high standards that had given me the prestigious reputation gained by the hosting of foreign students.
For more than 13yrs, along side of this, I also worked in a Private Day Nursery cooking healthy meals for 0/5yr olds, which I enjoyed immensely.
I have one 26 year old son who works in banking. He is a kind, hard working, friendly boy with only one weakness, he is a Leeds United football supporter! Sorry Richie...
After hosting countless students, by 2006, I was nominated for an award for services provided in the Community.
